Privacy & Accessibility

How this website handles analytics choices, accessibility, resident information and website data.

Accessibility, translation & privacy

Designed to be easier to use and clearer about data.

The site now includes consent-based visitor analytics controls. Non-essential analytics are not loaded unless a visitor chooses to allow them.

Accessibility

Keyboard-friendly navigation, skip link, scalable text, high-contrast mode, labelled forms and responsive layouts are built into this version.

Translation

The translation control uses Google Translate once the site has a public web address. Automated translations may not be exact; safety-critical information should be checked against official sources.

Privacy & visitor analytics

Google Analytics 4 is prepared for this site to measure visits and popular pages. Analytics only loads after a visitor chooses “Allow analytics”. Choosing “Reject analytics” leaves non-essential tracking off. The consent choice is stored locally in the visitor’s browser so the banner does not appear on every page load.

Data minimisation: residents should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information through ordinary email. Crime and safeguarding reports should be made through the appropriate official route. Analytics is configured without advertising personalisation or Google Signals.
Cookie choice: You can change your analytics preference at any time using the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom of the page.
